Jaclyn Henderson Is Headed To
Florida
Dover, New Hampshire (October 20, 2004) -Jaclyn Henderson is headed to
the University of Florida. Becoming a Gator was a life long dream for
Henderson, "I've wanted to go to that school since I was a little girl."
Henderson runs track and plays soccer for Portsmouth Christian Academy
where she is a record-holder in the 4x400 relay and the 400 meters. Her
record on the soccer field is not too bad either, she recently scored
her 100th career goal.
"She draws a lot of attention because she is dangerous any time she gets
the ball. She is by far the best player in Class S and one of the best
players in the entire state," said Steve Riel, coach of rival
Pittsfield.
At the club level, she plays for Seacoast United Premier.
She is considered a very hard working
player with excellent speed.
Henderson is an honor student and will enroll at UF beginning in
January.
