Valeria Blanco Has Committed To UM

Miami, Fla (October 20, 2004) - Valeria Blanco of Gulliver Prep has committed to the University of Miami. Blanco made the All Dade County First Team in 2004 and 2003 and was an Honorable Mention in 2002. She made the All State team in 2004 and 2003. Val was the 2004 Miami Herald Player of the Year as well as being the FACA District 20 Player of the Year. She led her Gulliver team with 37 assists and 17 goals. She was a member of the Florida ODP '86 team in 2002.
 
Blanco plays club soccer for Miami Premier.
