CLUB ATLETICO BOCA JUNIORS FROM ARGENTINA JOINS FORCES WITH SCHULZ ACADEMY

The powerful combination will provide a new breed of soccer players for the future

10/11/10

South America produced without a doubt technically the best skilled soccer players in the past. But especially the last 2 World Cups showed that technique alone is not enough anymore to be successful on the highest level. Especially Germany, which was well known in the past for its efficient but more defensive oriented style, showed some extremely attractive soccer the last 2 World Cups.
“This development didn’t come without a plan. German soccer experts analyzed 10 years ago the situation and came up with a revolutionary training plan for their young players. The first results could be seen at the 2006 World Cup, and even more at the last World Cup 2010 in South Africa”, explains Dr. Josef Schulz, president of the Schulz Academy, which produced the most American players signing pro contracts in Europe from all soccer academies in the US.
“Switzerland also followed the plan of the Germans, and it could be seen at the last U17 World Cup, where Switzerland won all their 7 games and became World Champion U17”, says Stephan Von Lattorff, Manager of the Schulz Academy.

“We at the Schulz Academy studied these training plans now since years, and together with the South American Powerhouse from Buenos Aires, Club Atletico Boca Juniors in the next few years we think we can make something special happen”, continues Dr. Josef Schulz.

The new project starts already with players in the age of 5 and continues through the age of 18 till either they become pros or college players. In addition even college players then have the opportunity to improve during their break by playing with Schulz Academy the PDL (Premier Developmental League), or the year round Soccer Developmental League (SDL), which Schulz Academy joined this year. Both leagues are a great platform for players, who are close to professional level or college players, who still want to become professional players. Specific plans are in the works to create a special year round competition for very talented players in Florida in the age of 10 – 19.
“We are thrilled to work with a prestigious soccer academy like the Schulz Academy here in America. They showed already that they can produce some great talented players in the past, and with our input we hope to develop many more players for the highest level. The US is an interesting new market for futbol, and we are convinced that we found the right partner here in America to develop the existing talented player pool, especially in Florida”, says Juan Carlos Mojica, the American representative of the “Escuelas de Futbol” of Club Atletico Boca Juniors in Buenos Aires.

The program will start on Saturday, November 6 in 3 different locations in South Florida especially for players age 5-9.
