Slammers FC (CA-S) 1, RSL Florida 93 (FL) 0
Real Salt Lake Florida 93 and Slammers FC (CA-S) entered today's match seeking to claim their first national titles for their respective clubs. Slammers FC have won three girls titles (2002, 2003 and 2005). Today the Under-16 Boys Slammers faced RSL Florida 93 for the Larry Harmon Cup. RSL was undefeated for the week and the two teams battled in the first half only to end in a scoreless tie. Early in the second half, midfielder Kyle Chin broke through to put the Slammers on the board. Chin's goal was enough for the Slammers to win the third national title of the tournament for California South and a fourth title for Region IV.
