UCF Women’s Soccer Hosts Mexico Wednesday Night Knights also to
take on Auburn Saturday evening.

(UCFAthletics.com) – It will be a very eventful ending to the spring
season for the UCF women’s soccer team as it is scheduled to host the
Mexico National Team Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the UCF Soccer Complex.
Admission will be $5 for adults while UCF students and kids 12 and under
will be admitted for free.
Coming off a season in which they were
ranked as high as No. 8 in the country and reached the NCAA Tournament
for the 14th time, the Knights also will battle Auburn Saturday at 6
p.m. Other matches at the complex include Mexico vs. Auburn Friday at 7
p.m. and Mexico vs. Georgia Saturday at 8 p.m.
On March 2,
Central Florida United Soccer Club was granted the honor of hosting the
Mexico Women’s Full National Team from April 6-11. While the squad is
here in Orlando they will participate in the CFU Girl’s Friendship Cup &
College Showcase that will take place at UCF and at Central Winds Park
in Winter Springs.
The event also will include a two-day soccer
tournament and a community-wide charity event to benefit the people of
Haiti. On Thursday at Central Winds Park, UCF and Mexico will join the
CFU Soccer Club to prepare and package meals for the Change This World
Organization to benefit the people of Haiti. The goal is to prepare
approximately 100,000 meals, and the teams are asking for help from the
community to accomplish its mission.
