After Sunday's 4-1 victory vs. Atlanta Fire the U18 Schulz Academy team
took the lead in the South East Division of the new Development Academy
League of the US Soccer Federation. Before the game Atlanta Fire was on
first place after a 2-1 win over FC Miami/Kendall on Saturday, but 3
goals within the first 20 minutes for Schulz Academy decided the game
early for the Florida team. Jesse Chang with a shot from 30 yards, Shawn
Barry, Gregory Edma, and Wendell James scored for Schulz Academy.
In Saturday's 4-1 win over Birmingham USA Shawn Barry, Julian Serrato
and Vinny DiBullo had the goals for the new leader of the table in the
U18 Division.

crucial win over Atlanta Fire on Sunday with a score of 1-0.

team, which positioned themselves now on 2nd place in the South East
Division.
With 20 points in total (both the U16 and the U 18 team have a record of
3-1-1) Schulz Academy made the most points of all Academy Clubs in the
competition so far.
"We new the games of the new league will be on a high level, but the
quality competition even exceeds or expectation. All games are played
with an extremely fast pace from the first to the last minute. This
league is the best preparation for the young Elite player of the country
for either college or professional soccer.
I couldn't believe how many college coaches were swarming our players
after the games offering them scholarships for future college play. 2 of
our players also got serious offers from top professional soccer clubs,
one in Mexico, one in Europe, too", says Dr. Josef Schulz, founder and
director of the Schulz Academy.
"One great game in this league, and your life can change", says Fitz
Sinclair, coach of the U16 Schulz Academy team.
