Space Coast hires new DOC
5/11/07
Space Coast United Soccer Club is proud to welcome John Duguid as its
new Director of Coaching effective June 1st. This is a newly created
position for the club, which is Brevard’s largest youth soccer club, and
the Board of Directors is excited about the prospects for the future.
The addition of a highly qualified DOC is in line with SCUSC’s goal to
maintain and grow its recreational and competitive programs as an asset
to our youth players.
John Duguid has an extensive soccer background, having played as a youth
as well as on full scholarship for Wake Forest University where he
graduated with a degree in Sociology. He was a member of the U.S.
National U-23 team/pool, various professional leagues, and has been
coaching youth soccer for 17 years. He holds both a U.S. Youth Soccer
Association National Youth License and a U.S. Soccer Federation National
‘A’ license. John is also a member of the FYSA state coaching and
instructional staff.
Space Coast welcomes John, his wife Lara and their two children to our
community.
