SoccerFLA Announces our All-Florida Women's Team

January 8, 2005 - SoccerFLA.com announces our All-Florida Women's Team for the 2004 season. The team is composed of the top women collegiate soccer players in Florida.

The University of Florida, which won the SEC Tournament Championship had four players on the team. UCF, which had a perfect 9-0 record against in-state opponents, had three players make the team. FSU also had three players. FAU added the final player.

Player of the Year is Florida's Stephanie Freeman. Freeman had 17 goals and 3 assists. She was All-SEC first team and the SEC Tournament MVP. She was a winner of the soccerFLA.com Player of the Week award. She had seven game winning goals this season.

Freshman of the Year is Kendra Flock from the University of Central Florida. Flock had 13 goals, 3 assists and 4 game winning goals. She also won the soccerFLA.com Player of the Week award for her performance against FSU.
